Once a 19th-century carriage house, the space now offers a peaceful and inviting atmosphere—perfect for slowing down, reflecting, and connecting with God and community.
Meet Your Speakers
CHARLENE CARR, Founder, From Water to Wine
Charlene Carr is the founder of From Water to Wine, a community created to bring women together for honest conversations about faith, growth, and purpose. With over a decade of experience in Communications and Events across both the public and private sectors—including roles in tech and state government—Charlene has built her career around the power of connection, storytelling, and shared experiences.
Her passion for creating meaningful spaces extends beyond her professional life. Through From Water to Wine, Charlene invites women to slow down, reflect, and engage in authentic dialogue that nurtures both faith and community. Whether through intimate gatherings, retreats, or shared moments of prayer, her mission is to help women draw closer to God and to one another.
Charlene lives in the Bay Area with her husband and son, where she continues to pour her heart into building spaces that inspire faith, fellowship, and transformation.
ERIN TURNER, Streaming Content Project Manager, TBN+
After successful careers at ESSENCE Magazine, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and Twitter, Erin Turner transitioned into full-time ministry in 2020, serving as Executive Office Director at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Through her company, Momentum Management Group, she continues to work at the intersection of faith, media, and influence—having contributed to global marketing efforts for The Chosen, managed a tour for Jackie Hill Perry and Preston Perry, and currently representing leaders such as Jamal and Natasha Miller. Her past clients include, but are not limited to, Laila Ali, BET: Black Entertainment Television, Nona Jones, and Chef Nyesha Arrington.
Now based in Dallas, Texas, Erin also serves as Project Manager for TBN+ and is passionate about helping others heal, embrace their journey, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
FRANCELI CHAPMAN-VARELA, Speaker, Author, Minister & Founder of Sequoia Sisters Ministries
Sequoia Sisters, a women’s discipleship organization in Los Angeles and Tampa Florida, and empowering women to embrace their rightful place in the world— is Franceli's passion. Through dynamic speaking engagements, inspiring writing, and heartfelt ministry, she creates and nurtures spaces where women can confidently step into their purpose.
Her mission is clear: guiding brothers and sisters to walk with divine confidence and realize their true potential.
Franceli uses her voice in Hollywood as well hosting panels such as, “What does it mean to be a Christian in Hollywood” and supporting organizations like the Hollywood Prayer Network and Behind Her Faith. Franceli’s career as an actor and writer is just another vehicle the Lord uses her to point others to him.
